Purpose: The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Students will engage in giving back to the community through student led events such as Blood Drives, Food Drives, Campus/Community Clean-Ups, etc.

Purpose: One of the best ways to get community service hours is to join Key Club. Key Club work in partnership with our local Kiwanis clubs to help high school students make a positive impact in their schools and communities. Key Club members are provided with many volunteer opportunities and can form lasting friendships along the way! High school student members of Key Club perform acts of service in their school and communities, such as cleaning up parks, collecting clothing and organizing food drives. They also learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district and international levels.

Purpose: Service Leadership Society (SLS) is a club for students to explore meaningful public policy topics, conduct research, form opinions, and develop a “bill” to address the selected public policy issue. Throughout the bill design process, students will learn the intricacies of Texas’ legislative process including how a bill becomes law. During the spring semester, SLS clubs gather for a state conference to present bill drafts to their peers and have the opportunity to debate and vote on all bills. Using the Capitol setting as a “living classroom,” the student led, student driven program promotes awareness to the political process, creates a more politically astute student body, and develops constructive solutions to issues that impact local communities while engaging stakeholders in government. Throughout the year, participants meet weekly to sharpen their research skills, form arguments for and against a solution, and practice public speaking skills. SLS clubs also host elected officials and their staff to learn more about careers in public service and the legislative process.

Purpose: A club that provides intellectual and social opportunities for high achievers who are pursuing higher education to build leadership and teamwork abilities. These are important for the real-world experiences students will have outside of high school. The College Readiness and Leadership Program (CRLP) is a mentorship program designed to help qualified students improve their skills in: Academics Voluntary Public Service Expedition/Exploration Personal Development (social-emotional-athletics) CRLP is a committed long term interactive mentor-mentee relationship which will help the students` achievement, improve their academic and social skills and enhance the student’s probability of acceptance into top ranking colleges and universities in the Nation as well as around the world.

Purpose: A school yearbook is essentially a “memory book” that highlights the students, teachers and events of the school year. A yearbook also gives students the opportunity to ask their friends and teachers for their autographs and allows them to add comments, “inside jokes” or other personal messages. When all’s said and done, a yearbook allows students to have a physical reminder of the school year. A traditional yearbook should include a few pages for the school administrators, faculty & other staff members, class or student portraits, several pages for clubs, teams or other group photos, a section for special awards & superlatives, event pages usually containing a collage of school events, and graduating class coverage.

Purpose:
This club is designed to explore diverse literary works, discuss themes, characters, and the impact of stories on our lives through different forms of literature and genres. The sessions will offer intriguing discussions and exchange of thoughts among peers on alternative days and fully-engaged experience in 'reading with purpose'- annotating as you read , writing side notes to be fully involved in reading and developing better practices.

Purpose: Doctors Without Borders offers medical humanitarian assistance to people based solely on need. Their teams of doctors, nurses, logisticians, and other frontline workers are often among the first on the scene when peoples’ lives are upended by conflict, disease outbreaks, or natural or human-made disasters. This club will focus on many community and service projects raising awareness of the need of medical assistance and fundraising to support these crises.

Cricket is a bat-and-ball team sport played between two teams of 11 players each, aiming to score more runs than the opposing team. The game involves batting, bowling, and fielding, with teams taking turns between these roles. The main goal is to score as many runs as possible while trying to get the opposing batters out.
